The Stratas.NV 80, designed by Christian Schneider-Moll, is a minimal track light specifically created for use in museums and galleries. Its primary objective is to provide the best possible color rendering to showcase the true appearance of art objects.

What sets the Stratas.NV 80 apart from other track lights is its unique features and strengths. It is equipped with a DC 48volt track with Dalifunction, allowing for seamless integration and control. The Xicatomodule XIM Artist provides a high lumen output of 1300lm and a color temperature of 3000°K, ensuring accurate and vibrant lighting. Additionally, the light features thermal protection on board the LED chip, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

The Stratas.NV 80 is made from high-quality aluminum and is powder-coated for a sleek and durable finish. With a fixture head diameter of 80mm and a height of 80mm, it is designed to be unobtrusive and blend seamlessly into any gallery or museum space.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was meeting the thermal performance requirements for the LED. By incorporating thermal protection on board the LED chip, Schneider-Moll was able to ensure that the Stratas.NV 80 maintains optimal performance even under demanding conditions.

With its innovative design and advanced technology, the Stratas.NV 80 has received recognition in the design industry. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category in 2016.
